Description
Recently we have worked closely with Clifford Chance to develop a new brand idea: revealing clarity. This idea runs across all their visual communications globally as a consistent imagery treatment. We took this principle into typography and language to create a series of posters.
Execution
We created a series of posters that use the language of emails and text messages. Each message explains a situation that looks innocent at first, but then reveals a hidden danger in the story through blurred type. This mix of clarity and obscurity emphasises the hidden risks of the cyber world. The set was designed to look like smartphones with bright gradients and narrower than normal – like a screen.
Outcome
The campaign was a resounding success. Staff engaged with the problem from the top down with many admitting they had never really considered cyber security an important issue before and they would be more aware of their actions in the future.
