Our prizes were worth winning. They were dream prizes. We wanted to suggest that Brother’s Super Galaxie were sewing machines that made dreams come true. These are no ordinary machines, these are Dream Machines. The mail-out was made entirely of fabric on a Brother Super Galaxie complete with a Velcro® fastening, sewn together and finished with both decorative and typographical embroidery. The follow-up mailer took the form of a cotton reel. This unrolled to reveal a brief reminder and update message.
Outcome
The campaign replaced a costly basic cash incentive scheme and has achieved a 41% incremental sales increase compared to the previous year.The clients were delighted with the outcome commenting on the "excellent creative and sound strategic thinking" that had helped deliver the results.
