Seeing an advertisement and turning the page to see another with the same design heightens the impact. The consumer senses the merits of the Shinkansen while simultaneously learning the merits of various companies' products. The pages of a newspaper are used to engage the consumer.
Outcome
After the advertisements ran, a number of companies approached us to propose tie-ups, and we decided to switch the figure in the advertisement from male to female.
