Freddy the Skittles Cloud does something amazing when touched in the right places, and something not-so-amazing when touched in the wrong places.

Execution

While at his Grandma’s house, Tommy gets Skittles from an unexpected source.

Then, viewers can follow Tommy’s lead and interact with the spot.

Outcome

Without any paid media support this execution alone garnered 12.3 million social media impressions, and was featured on Mashable.com, and was even nominated for the People’s Choice Webby Award. Moreover, our viewers loved the novelty of the experience, spending an average of one minute, 20 seconds with the ad. As part of our larger ongoing advertising efforts for Skittles, this execution contributed to near double digit sales growth for the corresponding period.
