Description
Mixing tradition and memories with aspects of the modern life, the Mercado Central is more than just a grocery depot or a supply center, but animportant icon of the local culture. This is a place for gathering sll the people who appreciate the melting pot which is the culture of the state, and it harbors people from the most different social backgrounds. The client needed to develop a retail environment system for this special place, as part of its campaign to strengthen its commercial appeal and, at the same time, establish a dialogue between the bars and their costumers.
Execution
To create an environment of intimacy, we chose to represent the bars through their owners themselves, which almost every time, are the same people standing behind the counter, taking orders. In addition, graphics were developed illustrating the variety of products and shapes the client’s logo could assume, representing the cultural diversity that exists amidst the Mercado Central.
Outcome
The Project had a really great response, with a noticeable enhance of the local flow of people and the general revenue. People would take pictures with the printed version of the bar owners and the bars became known by their owners names.
