OVERVIEW

Idea

A movie full of rhythm and tension, where we follow our muse across a city that she is marking with her own red print.

The muse invites us to follow her on a journey across the city that she is literally marking with a red line – a mysterious, subversive and challenging race.

She marks this line with her lipstick. Posters, walls, cars, store fronts… She draws a line on everything that is on her way.

She walks in a nonchalant, careless and confident way. She fears nothing. She’s marking the city with her own print. She finishes her walk on the roof of a parking lot where she draws on the floor a square in the form of the lipstick. As a rallying sign.

A spotlight suddenly turns on. A police helicopter has spotted her. Unzoom with an aerial image on the red square drawn on the floor.

Execution

The Slim is a movie that redefines the codes of French luxury through a never seen before treatment of a lipstick product. This movie was created to move the lines of beauty and re-shape the status of the woman in the cosmetic category.

The movie was an amazing success and achieved goals we would never have

imagine. In less than a year, YSL Slim became number 1 in United Kingdom, in Spain, in

China, in Korea and number 2 in France.
