The television spot is promoting the iSelect Health Cover Check-up – a simple online quiz or over-the-phone chat that allows customers to find out whether their existing health insurance policy is still the right fit for their current health needs and life stage.
Featuring a hapless snake handler and his iSelecting off-sider, the ad shows the handler being gruesomely bitten on the arm and face by a King Cobra, which results in some pretty hefty swelling. It doesn’t end well for the poor handler but it’s all in an effort to highlight the importance of regularly reviewing your health insurance.
