In this film, we see a young man in a dark, confined space, an atmosphere dramatically lit with shafts of light. He confesses to a series of sins he’s committed, presumably looking for forgiveness from a priest or minister. After confessing, we hear the voice of a regular guy ask “could you just read the meter, please?” We cut to the exterior of a suburban home, where we see the homeowner peering into an open gate in the latticework under his back deck. Back inside the dark space, we see the confessor is actually a “meter reader” under the deck who was confused because he’s hungry. We end on a super “Hunger Leads to Uncomfortable Situations” and VO over a product shot that says “Take Comfort in Peanut Butter and Snickers.”
