The commercial is set on Christmas day in Northern England, where villagers head to the pub for a traditional pint. However, before they can head home for their Christmas dinners, they are all snowed in and trapped.

In an act of kindness, the land lady decides to feed the group with her own food from Waitrose. The group all come together to help her and make a wonderful feast.

Then, just as they are about to eat the tasty food, a rescuer bursts through the door declaring he has ‘dug them out’. However, the startled villagers are now faced a with a dilemma. Do they head home to their families or eat the delicious Waitrose feast?
