TV spots encouraged the public to produce their own clips and send them to the website, www.funktube.com.br, where they could also watch and vote for the best video clip.From this an Internet community was spawned, which in turn nourished the concept of interactivity even more. Even after the campaign had gone off the air, the number of entries and votes continued to multiply.
Outcome
After 3 months, the site had registered more than 10 million page visits.The performances received 3.8 million page views. One million votes were counted and 36 thousand comments were posted on the site.While the CD market is currently retracting at around 20%, sales of this CD surpassed expectations by 250%.
