Description
Challenge:In China, the awareness that adidas is the official apparel sponsor for the NBA is quite low. Adidas will launch 5 shoes alongside a campaign entitled ‘It takes 5ive’, and wanted a high impact digital device to promote the 5 shoes and athletes.Solution:A widget, actually 5 widgets combined in one application. Components include a gallery, videos, shoes, launch dates, NBA scores and a search feature. This widget uses RSS to receive latest news, blog entries and can be updated remotely. This application will be rolled out in select stores on touchscreen displays.Results:The 5ive widget was downloaded 16,601 times in the first week after launch.
