Background
ANA approached Bloomberg Media Studios to produce a custom content hub for a brand awareness campaign to help with ANA's image outside of Japan. ANA wanted to be perceived as a "global" airlines and be at par with the likes of Emirates, Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines. ANA wanted to step out of their Japanese airline image and re-brand themselves as being more international and become the airline of choice of business travelers. The objective to relay that ANA provides a carefully thought-out service for its customers under their global campaign "By Design". In addition, ANA wanted to promote the fact that they fly to 10 US destinations from Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines with relatively short and efficient layovers and seamless connections.
Execution
This campaign was written, designed and animated by the team with only less than 4 weeks. With all hands on deck, the team had to divide tasks and simultaneously put together the copy; translate it in Japanese to get the client's buy in; manage the client's expectations; get sign off on the copy; build and design the page on static; activate all animations-- all these within 4 weeks. This campaign ran from 3 Dec to 25 Jan on bloomberg.com as a custom content hub with traffic drivers on ROS throughout the website.
