In order to make an impact on how mental health problems are treated it is important to realize that the majority of people with behavioral health conditions get their mental health care in primary care, and that the quality of this care suffers greatly due to lack of access to behavioral experts. Addressing this "access" gap will dramatically reduce costs
and increase the quality of patient care.
Execution
The portal is available to the public via sunovionhealthinsights.com. Ideation, content development, formal approvals and programming and development took approximately 6-months. We envision the Payer Portal to be an enduring resource. It has been designed with mobile accessibility and flexibility in mind. It will be updated constantly to keep pace with changing legislation and best practices.
