A simple idea, show people the hidden damage caused by the sun’s UV rays. But to really have an impact we needed to show individuals their own hidden damage, not just a poster or print ad of a nameless person. That meant sitting them in front of a UV camera; shock them into taking some action. We built an experience around the camera and took it to the people. A specially fitted bus that transported the UV camera and consultation team around the country.
Outcome
The promotion was overwhelmingly successful from a sales and branding perspective exceeding campaign objectives. Declining sales were reversed and brand perceptions show growth on many levels.
