OVERVIEW

Description

January in Berlin. Christmas time is over. The temperatures are low and nobody cares about the more than 10,000 homeless people on the streets. How can we get the attention of the Berlin people?

With "Superpenner" - which translates to "Superhobo“. A comic supplement only available in the Berlin street paper "Strassenfeger", which the homeless people sell on the streets and subways throughout the city.

The 20,000 editions of the gritty and provoking comic book sold out after 10 days and Superpenner became the talk of the town. A comic release party attracts the press and brings influencers and homeless people together. Every Berlin newspaper, many national and international newspapers and even the online edition of the New York Times reported about the comic book. Five TV stations sent stories about the project and infinite blogs celebrated "Superpenner". Berlin’s homeless had never received this much attention before and the sales revenue helped them survive the tough winter.
