As a media first in Austria’s biggest women’s magazine we animated our target group to create their individual Splash model when flipping through the pages. This we managed by using a Suzuki Splash model in white printed on gloss paper that could be redesigned by placing removable stickers on it. This made it possible to rebrand Suzuki Splash in special and individual looks as much as everyone liked and also showed how easy the transformation from one look to the other would be – just like in reality. By using a magazine to transport the unique possibility of restyling your car in an interactive and surprising way, we managed to create maximum impact within the target group.
Outcome
The extraordinary creative media solution supported the growing trend of individualism and the target group’s fashion affinity and resulted in huge PR, positive consumer feedback and successful sales. The whole Austrian contingent of Suzuki Splash had been sold out within a few weeks and the Splash launch was the most successful Suzuki launch in Austria ever.
