Description
In her first foray into “celebrity ambushing,” Tampax nemesis Mother Nature takes on Serena Williams, who gamely holds her own. Supplementing a Tampax Pearl print campaign and online sweepstakes, this web film features tennis superstar Williams battling Mother Nature and her dreaded “Monthly Gift” (a.k.a. the period). Designed to intensify the “rivalry” between these two forces of nature, the piece mimics a pre-match press conference, complete with chest-beating, mud-slinging and trash talk. The film was seen on Tampax.com, beinggirl.com and YouTube as well as numerous sports blogs and news outlets.
