The main hurdle to overcome when it comes to booking a holiday in the time leading up to Christmas is customers’ decision-making reticence in the face of a wealth of other offers and issues that need to be dealt with. People, who are reluctant to make decisions, are often quite happy to let fate decide for them.
Outcome
The mailing response rate reached 6%. Compared with the previous year’s mailing campaign the response rate could be improved by 20%. Thanks to the mailing a total of 60 customers booked a holiday with an average booking value of €2,300.
