Description
TEDxSydney is a conference that attracts an audience of Sydney’s best and brightest minds, with the focus on ideas worth sharing. Our brief was to create a film to be screened between TED talks to ‘clear the minds’ of the audience in preparation for the following speaker.
The event itself is all about new ideas and new visions, so we wanted to show something that represents that feeling. The First Taste shares the pure, unfiltered powerful emotion that’s possible with discovering something new.
This film aired at TEDx Sydney Conference.
Execution
The event itself is all about new ideas and new visions, so we wanted to show something that represents that feeling. The First Taste shares the pure, unfiltered powerful emotion that’s possible with discovering something new.
Outcome
The First Taste was so well received, it went on to be the most shared video from the whole event, gathering over 3 million YouTube views within just a few weeks. It helped that it was picked up by the Huffington Post, Daily Mail, Metro and hundreds of blogs and online newspapers around the world. Probably the most bizarre mark of success was a complete rip-off by a random cheese brand in Poland.
