Description
The Ad Council asked us to help curb teen dating violence. When we started talking to kids, we found that teen dating has gone digital, and abuse has followed. This problem consists of pressuring for nude pictures, the violation of online accounts, and controlling IM-ing or texting. With no laws and no defined boundaries, there was nowhere for teens to turn. We discovered a huge problem that no one was addressing and realised an opportunity to step in.A phone text notification alarm sounds, followed by a robot saying whatever the text says. Even though the robot remains monotone, the frequency and wording of the texts lead you to believe it’s becoming abusive. Ambient sounds in the background give you the feeling that the girl is in the mall.
