To launch the new conceptual song we created a film where we symbolically got to see a Lidl store that magically lights up through dancing. Since we were filming in an actual Lidl store outside of Stockholm we used 35 mm film for a more cinematic feel, and to give life to the lights and colours in the store. All lighting effects were set up on location and synced up to each and every step and moment. The choreographer and the team of dancers were auditioned and handpicked from all over Europe. The use of steadicams and cranes allowed us to move in unison with the dancers, giving the final film its dynamic feel.
