Background
The first week of April in Milan is dedicated to Design Week. Thousands of people coming from all parts of the world come to Milan to experience the Design Week and to enjoy the hundreds of parties. The period fit perfectly with the launch of Volkswagen T-Cross which has the following communication platform: I am more than one thing. This communication platform inspired us to propose an activity linked to anamorphic design. The best artists in this field come from Turin, they are called Truly Design and they are appreciated for their works in different countries. Truly Design was born in 2007 but they started painting graffiti in 1996.
Execution
No one before has ever made an “anamorphic” billboard, especially during the Milan Design Week. The strategic position of the billboard (very close to Duomo of Milan) gave the opportunity to be clearly seen by thousands of people who crowded Milan during this important week and the high impact anamorphic creativity clearly communicated the pay off.
