The film follows a young Algerian man's moments with family and friends both before and after he has been departs from them in either France or Algers. The film touches on youth, religion, drugs, male culture, prejudice and above all freedom in a subtle a way possible.

Effectively the film shows the young man in the last night before it's implied that he leaves the country where his family resides. The ambiguity if this is a story of emigration or deportation is key to the success of the narrative.

Shot on location in Algers, the team casted the lead actor from Paris and the encircled him with both a real, local family as well as a casted crew of friends. Some of whom were relatives of his. The team employed real people casting and created a mix of street casting and traditional casting in Algers and Paris.
