Description

A major development in our ideation phase was changing the name from “Re” to “Qurr” as the former comprised of 15% of all the words in the English language and failed to appear on the first page for any search keywords, thereby making it unmarketable. Qurr (pronounced Kyoor) allowed us to get creative with wordplay and branding while advertising the product’s function within its name as a verb itself. Additionally, we decided to give the product a segmented focus and specific targeted messaging by splitting it into 3 different verticals - each targeting a different audience (Strong, Well and Toned). Over the course of one month since our launch, we created diversified narrative content through graphics, videos and testimonials to educate the consumer about Qurr's benefits and repackaged the physical product to bring it in line with the renewed vision and strategy.

Execution

In order to achieve a successful rebrand and sub-brand integration, the design elements chosen were very simple yet very strong. The 3 bold colors chosen to differentiate the sub-brands came about by its implicit associations with the target audiences without being obvious, to stand out next to the competition. Toned is Red for powerful women. Well’s Yellow is for energy for recovery. Strong is Blue for purity instead of common toxicity of similar products. The imagery used is intended to further illustrate the product's uses and results.

The packaging is intended to be educational, explaining the active ingredient and its benefits and also the best way to use it.

One important client requirement was to incorporate the active ingredient “Fortetropin” within the logo, which we managed to do without compromising the brand and its overall look and feel. Our designs don't just sell a product, they tell a story.

Outcome

Our client MYOS RENS Technology is a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: MYOS) and therefore the sales are confidential until their public statement is made. However, users have been interacting with the sophisticated web platform we have built, and the rise in sales have been proof of it’s success. Tangible results since we launched Qurr 3 weeks ago:

Increased Facebook page impressions by 58,152.6%, total engagement by 44,083.3%%

More than 146,000 Facebook video views,

Increase Twitter page engagement by 1063%

For new pages, gained 4,542 Facebook Likes and more than 10,300 Instagram followers

More than 1,634,939 impressions generated through Adwords advertising

13,885 views and 7,928 minutes watched on Youtube

Custom built brand ambassador and affiliate program being utilized by the likes of celebrity trainers and thought leaders, leading to an increase in subscription orders

Custom built digital rewards program being used by nearly all website visitors, incentivizing users to share and interact with the brand
