At the climax of the action, the footage animates and the jerseys, the players, and their surroundings morph to pay homage to their college basketball heritage. At the turning point of the spots, the most iconic voice of college basketball commentary, Dick Vitale, narrates with his uniqueness and flare, before it all pays off with a return back to the player in his NBA jersey.

Russell Westbrook executes a ferocious slam dunk for the Oklahoma City Thunder before morphing into the UCLA Bruins’ Bear—complete with blue and gold uniform, and Westbrook’s signature red-framed glasses. James Harden steps back and sinks a jump shot before his uniform transforms into the Arizona State Sun Devils—a trident appears, and tiny horns sprout from his forehead.

As Dwyane Wade does a one-handed tip dunk, the Marquette University Golden Eagle springs from his back and unleashes a powerful cry. Paul Pierce sinks a three-pointer, making the crowd explode. The red and blue feathers of the University of Kansas’ Jayhawks emerge from Pierce’s body as the stadium “waves the wheat” to resemble the famous Kansas tradition.
