Description

People are willing to donate, but found the process too complicated. In the end, people found it easier to throw their unwanted clothes away to make room for new clothes.

Execution

In Shanghai, shopping is the most popular past time. People throw away on average 130,000 tons of clothing each year. We found that people were willing to donate, but thought it was too complicated. By being present at the point of purchase, The Donation Shopping Bag provided a simple solution to donate their clothes without any hassle.

Outcome

More than 6,500 Donation Shopping Bags were sent to Suishou Welfare Foundation and over 98,000 clothing items were donated.
