The Insight:
When you think of Switzerland, you think of three things: Money, money and money. Surprisingly, the Swiss have a very schizophrenic relationship with it. Money is omnipresent, but one thing applies to the Swiss more than to any other place in the world: You do not speak about money! Money is Switzerland’s biggest taboo.
The Idea:
In many situations in life it becomes unavoidable to talk about money. Like in this situation, in which a man at the funeral of his dad is confronted with relatives he hasn’t ever seen in his life.
The Goal:
Bank Cler wants the Swiss people to change their behavior and address the subject of money more openly and straight-forward. Because the first step to find a solution for a problem is to talk about it. Time to talk about money.
