Background
Taco Bell fans have been dreaming of Taco Bell delivery for years, but until now, they’ve been just that, dreams. Taco Bell was the most inconvenient craving to have in QSR because of the proximity gap, so to revive the magic of delivery and close the proximity gap with McDonald’s, we made everyone’s Taco Bell dreams a reality.
Execution
To make our commercial truly feel like an inspirational anthem, we enlisted the people that would be able to give it the credibility we needed. We didn’t want actors portraying rock climbers and ballerinas, we wanted the slight stiltedness and unbridled passion only real doers could give us. Contrast that with the self-deprecating, everyman persona of Adam Devine, and we had the perfect balance to make our delivery announcement feel anthemic without taking ourselves too seriously.
