Execution

We used the charming town of Naples as the back-drop for an event inviting people to eat together in public. An iconic Coke truck was completely rearranged as a Happiness Table, armed with a foldout living room, a magical moving food cloche and plenty of surprises. PR, social media and a Youtube video of the event all linked to the "Virtual Truck" where you could create a personal story as an invitation merging info from Google Maps, Google Streetview and Facebook to get the "virtual truck" to invite you to eat together all over the world.

Outcome

The initiative was a living example of the Coca-Cola "liquid idea approach", where content travels through channels, and the filmed event has been used in different ways in over 30 markets from TV ads to branded content. From being featured on Coke's global Facebook page it spinned off into influential foodie and lifestyle bloggers and eventually reached news media outlets all over Europe, and totally reached almost 59.500.000 media impressions and saw the central hashtag #LetsEatTogether become the centre of conversation.
