Description
A storybook opens to reveal a sad child surrounded by dark, empty bookshelves. The page turns to reveal a series of amazing, inspiring adventures to be found in books. We see the boy and a parent on a computer going to the first book website to change the lives of children without books. From the computer, the book flies and picks up the sad child, breaking through the empty bookshelves and soaring him through the wonderful world of books and the many stories available to inspire him.
The spot aims to instill the magical sense of wonder and adventure books can bring a child.
Execution
We wanted to bring the paper pages to life showing the power of great stories to bring learning and inspiration to kids in need once given the gift of books. Special texturing and shading was used to capture the paper look.
