The key objective was to increase the mandates from members of the Deutscher Anwaltverein.

A lot of convicts only realize after being imprisoned, how important it would have been to consult a lawyer on time. That's exactly what we want to remind potential inmates with a calendar, that has only existed in prison until now: a piece of prison wall, in which oneself has to scrape into. The Deutscher Anwaltverein supplies his members with this calendar. The lawyers can use it as a mailing to remind their solicitors daily of our message: Consult a lawyer, before you have to.

All the clients who recieved the special New Year's mailing responded to it with great rapture. In addition many of them reported to their lawyers that they actually hung up the calendar in their office or even at home. In the end the Prison Calendar reminds these clients almost everyday of how precious every moment of freedom is.
