Our commercial plays out inside a luxurious, five-star hotel room. We observe what appears to be the aftermath of some kind of violent altercation. Tables, tumblers and windows have been shattered. Furniture has been knocked over. There are shoes and fruit everywhere, but not a person in sight. We see evidence which indicates that a mango was stabbed with an expensive pen. Only at the very end do we reveal the cause of all this destruction: The guest (now departed) was doing battle with the hairy, bird-eating spider that was hiding in the welcome basket. Something that would never happen at the no-frills, one-star Road Lodge, where they simply don't have any welcome baskets. Or any luxurious amenities at all, for that matter.
