Description
To raise funds for Mi Esuelita, we developed a movie trailer that was shown in theatres, TV and online. When watching this trailer people could use shazam through their mobiles or go online to buy a ticket for the movie. Each ticket was a donation to Mi Escuelita.
Execution
We created a movie trailer about Emma. Emma represents one of the many Hispanic children that don’t have access to education, and that thanks to Mi Escuelita, have the chance of learning English and going to school. It was a story about a successful future, one that hadn’t happened yet, but that people could turn into a reality with their donations.We played the trailer in movie theatres, TV and the digital space.People who watched the trailer could make a donation by buying a ticket for the movie using Shazam or on our website.
Outcome
During the first week we received over 180.000 dollars in donations, and this amount keeps growing.
Thanks to this, 423 hispanic children can study at Mi Escuelita and build a brighter future.
