Description
Easy cash is the leading second-hand purchase and sales network in France. This commercial aims to convince reluctant consumers by highlighting an exclusive service: Easy cash will buy your unwanted possessions for cash in less than 30 minutes.
To play up the service, the commercial is filmed from the unused objects’ point of view; we give them a voice and a chance to convince their owners to act.
The result: a video game console breaks up with his owner to go live a better life with someone else.
Execution
For this comedy, it was important to find an actor able to personify a games console abandoned by its owner and longing for a new life. An actor able to improvise and play with the tenderness he feels towards his owner and the frustration caused by his uselessness—a bond midway between a friendship and a love affair.
