Editorially APPLE WFH was deceptively complex, it was almost like trying to pull off a magic trick, the brief was to make a film that was about the pandemic without it being creatively compromised by it. The director wanted it to feel like all 5 characters were in the same room or at least in the same office. However in order to achieve that we had to craft even the most minor of interactions and because of the nature of the multiple people on screen at the same time we had to be aware of all of their reactions. At first we edited very specific parts but as the job evolved the director would brief either of us and we would just dive into those notes and as a result it was by far the most collaborative and enjoyable commercial experience the editors have had.
