In 2013, Pepsi debuted a charming TV commercial chronicling that pivotal moment decades ago when, about halfway through a farm-field game of early pigskin, a broken-down car, some electric coed chemistry and, of course, a cooler full of Pepsi gave life to the timeless tradition. “So what do we call that?” “Halftime.” “I like halftime.”
