Background
As a brand that was born at the beach, Beach is the best place to demonstrate "outside we live again", so ocean protection is deeply connected to purpose. If you want to be there, you need to protect it.
To protect the ocean from being polluted by plastic, corona minimized the plastic generation during whole supply chain and production process.
This year, we want to recruit more people and organizations for ocean protection.
Idea
As a brand that has always been dedicated to ocean conservation, we made a commitment to recycle 145 tons of plastic waste from the ocean in China by the end of the year and make them into products that are accessible to everyone.
We want to influence not only Ocean protectors, but also outdoor lovers and pan-ocean protector
Execution
We collaborated with China’s first B-Corp Organization How bottle, launched environment-friendly product series. We reshaped the Chinese character “Su” containing double meanings by using wave-like lines to create a unique pattern.
We also quantified the use of plastic and showcased it on the labels, to let consumers intuitively feel their contribution to marine protection.
Outcome
128kg of plastic rubbish were given a second life, attracting hundreds of consumers to buy recycled products.
Not only have numerous consumers participated in our program, but also lots of brands are now taking action on reusing recycled plastics.
More beer brands are joining us for plastic reduction and environmental protection.
