Tikkurila wanted an Annual Report that would inspire people to paint and to use colours. One of the essential things in the brief was to combine a look and feel of “real life”. The client wanted their Annual Report also to express feelings, life and how colours affect this combination.
Execution
After the client brief, the team had a brainstorming session where the idea “Today I am feeling” was created. The process began with a prototype which was continuously developed on the basis of the client’s feedback. We wanted to bring extra value to the hardcopy of the Report with a special cover pocket and by using spot colours on the pages that make the product come alive when you flick through. It was important for the team to keep the original brief in mind and use the colours present in Tikkurila’s business and inspire people to use colours.
Outcome
The product was released as a PDF the evening before this entry was made, so no direct feedback is available at this point. The final printed product will be released on March 17th. We will supply you with the feedback after that.
