A journey across Australia aboard one of the world’s most famous trains becomes a symphony of sights and sounds through the masterful editing of a Youtube mash-up artist.

Using sounds and images recorded while travelling on The Ghan railway, Youtube artist POGO created an audio-visual mash-up encapsulating the atmosphere and drama of one of the world’s great rail journeys. The soundtrack integrates the mechanical sounds of the train itself together with the ancient aboriginal didgeridoo, the wildlife and the people that travellers encounter as they journey through the rugged Australian Outback.
