Background
The brief was to show that we were not promotion another action game but a game with a deeper vision: WatchDogs 3 explores the responsibilities and actions of a player/individual/citizen when an authoritarian society threatens our freedom.
The main objective of this film was to show the “where” and “when” of the game, which is very clearly a dystopian London on the near future.
We carefully avoided cyborgs and cloned horse-guards but instead showed a London cabbie of today versus the drones of tomorrow.
Idea
We took it upon ourselves to take an interest in an ordinary citizen, an ordinary man who, almost in spite of himself, takes sides and goes underground and into history.
