A perfect example of a holistic partnership, where the Shopper Marketing agency worked with the national agency to create an interactive CD-ROM that ties back to the national campaign, within a tight budget to drive sales at a specified retailer.
Outcome
By solving the business problem of differentiating Puffs Plus from its #1 competitor during cough/cold season, the Walmart buyer decided to add an additional month of incremental merchandising.It helped take the Puffs equity from a 3D puppet world into a 2D animation world, opening the door to more cost effective ways of creating the Puffs Pals and the Puffs Plus world with the national agency.Due to the in-pack promotion, Walmart provided Puffs Plus with a prominent display space in March, resulting in a 15% increase in sales.
