Roy & HG - two of Australia’s venerated icons of sporting humour would be hosting ‘The Dream in Athens’ - a nightly Olympic programme.With the Golden Shovel as the programme mascot (Aussie toilet humour at its best), we commissioned commemorative Olympic ‘golden shovel’ toilet rolls for the show. The customised toilet rolls awarded to the Australian Olympics medallists interviewed daily, thereby rewarding our sporting heroes with nothing but the best!
Outcome
Share of market increased 2% over two quarters following this media activity (huge in this compehitive category!) and market leadership was therefore cemented. Ratings wise, it was an absolute success with Roy & HG delivering a massive 42% share of viewing amongst grocery buyers nationally during this timeslot.
