Description

While we had been wondering how to carry out the client's request, we found that most of blind students didn't have yearbooks just because they had difficulty to see. We decided to invent the first yearbook for the blind, Touchable Yearbook, by 3D printing technology.

As yearbooks for the blind had never existed, we needed to get some progresses done before 3D printing.

Execution

- The invention, Touchable Yearbook, itself is creative.

- Showcasing Touchable Yearbook on the graduation day was proven very powerful and highly related to the product.

- As people attending saw the yearbook, they could believe the technology could change the world.

Outcome

- As showcasing the yearbooks on the graduation day for the first, we made an huge impression on not only students but also more than 2,000 people attending.

- About 80% of people attending agreed that Touchable Yearbook was a good invention.

- We expect more schools for the blind or charities join to give blind students yearbooks afterwards.

- People experienced 3D printing technology could apply to our real life in good ways

- The client evaluated the campaign very successful as Touchable Yearbook could be very promising business item for them.

- The more important things than others is that the students have everlasting memories as long as they keep the yearbooks.
