It only takes few minutes to cut down a tree, but much longer time is needed to grow one. The audience will witness a tree got disintegrated in a second’s time, while they need to wait for at least more than a minute’s time to see the tree to be reconstructed again into a complete tree. The metaphor using time to be a real demonstration.

Execution

We build a tree-clock device in an indoor shopping mall with busy offices building. The clock hands are shaped in trees form. The audience will see a complete tree with lots of branches. In a second’s time, when the clock hands moves, the trees will be disintegrated. It will only restored again into a completed tree after a few minutes. People need to wait to see the tree to be reconstructed again. People could scan the QR code to donate to NGO. Within a split second’s time, they could help the forest reconstruction.
