Description

Especially in cancer treatment areas, there is an individualized treatment for each patient. Around every single treatment, there is a figure of a number of healthcare professionals.

To provide the best treatment for each patient, it is the mighty "hope" that healthcare professionals have in each. It is also mighty hope that the client, TAIHO PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD has in the corporate attitude.

I believe that its mighty hope is the most fundamental value we should aim.

Tree of Hopes has been covered with Koto-no-ha (Koto-no-ha has a double meaning of Leaves and Words in Japananese),

on which healthcare professionals write down their will, feelings, wishes and belief about the treatment of cancer.

I was thinking Tree of Hopes standing in the middle of the exhibition booth.

I was thinking its strongly dignified appearance would be a symbol to protect patients living with cancer gently.

Execution

Produce interactive installation and web app embodying the creative core idea above.

Interactive installation consists of 46 inches monitor x 12 face multi-panel.

The animation video of Tree of Hopes is projected onto a large multi-panel screen.

On the other hand, an iPad have been displayed one leaf.

The participant (healthcare professionals) write down his/her own nickname or initials on the leaf with an iPad. They also write down their will, feelings, wishes and belief about the treatment of cancer.

When they swipe the iPad, the leaf of the message is fluttering into the screen.

The 53rd annual meeting of Japan Society of Clinical Oncology was held for three days, Oct.29-31, 2015 in Kyoto. Almost 600 people (healthcare professionals) have experienced this event, Tree of Hopes.

Through this experience, a core brand message of TAIHO Oncology was able to be communicated with their customer.
