Hammock with its one end tied to a tree not only appealed to residents, it gave them a chance to look at a social service message in a completely fresh way.
Outcome
Not only did the residential societies initiate their own tree-plantation projects, school going kids, to whom big words and complex terminology mean nothing, understood and liked the idea and started a tree-plantation drive in their schools. Also, citizens across Mumbai have come out in support of the tree-plantation drive planned by the Municipal Corporation.
