The requirements for the card were simply to celebrate the holiday, to express a sense of wit and charm and to bring a smile to the faces of the recipients.

The card had to be relevant to both London and San Francisco and be memorable as a beautiful piece of work produced internally for Turner Duckworth and its clients.

Our aim was to combine the two studios in London and San Francisco in a sophisticated and festive image that we could share with our friends and clients over Christmas. The Turner Duckworth 2012 holiday print depicts both London's Tower Bridge and San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge. The design captures the weather and cheer of the season, from London in the snow to San Francisco on a crisp starry night. We chose to have the print hand-painted and to produce it on large format fine art paper to make it feel gift-worthy and of limited edition.
