Description
Consciously or unconsciously the whole issue of child abuse is blocked away by most people. So the actual task for the campaign in a way was to therapy the audience. Help them to open up and understand the dimensions and the meaning child abuse has to an individual’s life. With such a complicated issue this can only happen through art and through real stories. Every motif of the campaign is a short journey into the life of a victim.
Execution
Any victim of child abuse has a childhood with of course not only bad memories. If you talk to these people you learn that they experienced their childhood as somehow normal. Because it was their normality. There was also light and fun. The only difference is that there was this huge shadow hanging over it. All the time. The collages in the ads help people to somehow comprehend this – evoking a tiny little bit of the same distracting simultaneity of feelings.
Outcome
As the campaign has been realised in april 2016 there are no results yet.
