The Ask
For the launch of its U.S. digital flagship, Japanese retailer UNIQLO asked us to build a best-in-class ecommerce site as dynamic and fun as its brick-and-mortar retail experience – and do it in time for the holiday shopping season, five months away.
Our Answer
We started with best practices in ecommerce to build a superbly functional site. Then we injected playfulness into a range of interactions–from search and navigation to checkout and error messaging. Highlights include a unified visual system, responsive design, infinite scroll, and immersive content. The resulting site sets a new standard for digital commerce.
