Description
Our idea was to construct a set of bleachers right across the border between two countries known for being rivals in football and screen a Champions League match where the biggest football idols in each country are playing for the same team.
Thanks to our experiment, we saw Brazilians and Argentines rooting for the same side for the first time ever.
Execution
We built a set of bleachers right across the Brazil-Argentina border.
Half in each country.
On the day of a Champions League match, we screened the game, drawing residents of both countries to watch.
The bleachers attracted approximately 100 fans from both countries, giving rise to an online film that was watched by over a million people in the first week alone.
Outcome
More than 500 residents from the two cities took part in the live event, and the promotional video got over 7.000.000 views and was shared over 15,000 times in the first week alone.
